Lena Redisa, Silence on the Lake, 2017, oil on canvas, original edition, multicoloured landscape, signed on the front and back, 60 × 70 cm, sold with the frame, Latvia.
Description from the seller
An original work by L. Redisa — a Latvian artist trained at the Academy of Arts of Latvia under Professor Kozin, an engineer by training, with a double technical degree, whose scientific eye and artistic soul blend in every canvas.
60 × 70 cm. Oil on canvas. 2017. Latvia.
A Latvian lake at the heart of summer. The absolute silence of the blue water, framed by rustling reeds, generous willows, and wild grasses gilded by the oblique light. The pale sky remembers the morning. The bank yields. Nothing moves — and yet everything breathes.
The brushwork is vivid, direct, and tactile. The palette vibrates between moss green, ochre yellow, deep blue, and the discreet pink of the sunset. This is intimate Latvia, that of inner lakes, the kind only a country artist can capture with that very truth.
Unique work. Signed on the front and back by L. Redisa. The back bears the original title in Latvian "Klusums pie ezera", the dimensions, the technique, the year — complete original documentation.
Presented in its natural studio wooden frame. Certificate of authenticity. Secure shipping, premium packaging, insured dispatch from Riga. Lifetime after-sales service, offered directly by the Abstract Art gallery: maintenance, restoration, decoration advice — free of charge, with no exceptions.
Work created directly in the artist's studio, presented by the Abstract Art gallery. This creation naturally fits into a contemporary approach and can be featured in the Inspirez-moi selections, The Best Live from the Studio, Solo Shows and Current Trends: Rising Artists.
