πJS aka Stephen Joannon (Artist, Gallery owner, Exhibition curator, Music critic…)
A versatile visual artist and conduit of form, presents ROBBIT: a series of vividly colored sculptures, a mischievous homage to the worlds of Barry Flanagan, Jeff Koons and Kaws, caressed by the electronic motifs of Herbie Hancock — notably Rockit (1983), from which its name originates. Created in Tourrettes-sur-Loup in collaboration with an exceptional craftsman, the collection comprises four silhouettes, each subsequently hand-painted in strictly unique variations.
A poem of metal and matter, ROBBIT fuses pop audacity and playful sweetness: a sculptural presence that strikes with chromatic optimism and visual melody. These pieces, designed to cross looking and complete contemporary collections, are produced in limited editions — an invitation to seize the work before it disappears.
