Description from the seller

Venetian Murano glass flower with a silk stem – 40 cm long

This flower is made entirely by hand in Murano using the traditional lamp-working technique. The glassmaker uses a colored glass rod, brought to a malleable temperature by the flame of a gas-fueled torch. Once the glass is malleable, it is shaped and wound around a thin metal support, allowing the desired form to be achieved.

The lamp-working technique enables the creation of highly detailed subjects, such as flowers, animals, and small decorative elements.

For flowers, after finishing the bloom and leaves, the piece is inserted by hand onto a silk-covered stem and reinforced with a metal wire, so it can be used for arrangements, decorations, and displays.

An original and authentic gift idea, perfect for those who love Venetian craftsmanship.

Fast shipping and secure packaging.

The photos of the bouquet are for illustrative purposes; the listing refers to a single flower—the white rose.
