Description from the seller
Yayoi Kusama certainly needs no introduction: Kusama is one of the most important postwar and contemporary artists, with exhibitions around the world. Her work is not only of historical importance, but also appeals to a young and broad audience and challenges art concepts such as Minimalism and Pop Art. Harrie Verstappen published photos in virtually all Dutch newspapers and magazines and many international publications. He photographed rock groups such as The Golden Earring, The Kinks and Frank Zappa. In the mid-1960s he worked with the driven Kusama and captured improvised and provocative actions. The collaboration did not remain limited to one-off actions: strewn with dots, dressed in her self-designed fashion, on the street and in the sex shop, in nature.
Just now a new publication has appeared, with text and photographs by Harrie Verstappen, and an exclusive edition by the 0-institute: https://www.0-institute.info.
The artwork, signed and numbered by Harrie Verstappen, is a thermal inkjet print on high-quality photo paper. The signed and numbered (1/60) photo will be sent in a cardboard box.
