What is a "Panthagon"?
Born from my imagination, the Panthagon is the offspring of a cross between a panther and a spiny dragon. This explains why it has spines on its back. Juveniles are born with only 4-6 spines. As they grow, females keep their 4-6 spines while males develop additional spines along the back up to the tail. There are different spine shapes (straight, angled, short, long, etc.) depending on the Panthagon subspecies.
Popularized by Orlinski, Koons and many others, animal sculptures (balloon dog, lion, panther, crocodile...) are at the heart of pop art. I therefore offer you this representation of a Panthagon in resin, fully painted in gray/black acrylic and in crackle version. Pop art / contemporary art style. Sculpture dimensions: 46 cm x 14 cm x 10 cm. Triple coat of glossy, UV-protective varnish. Sculpture signed / hand-numbered on the bottom. Delivered with its certificate of authenticity.
