Pascal Baril is a French photographer and journalist whose work is distinguished by his portraits of public figures, his press reportage and his black-and-white photography. Since the early 1980s, he has collaborated with several major agencies, notably Associated Press, Interpress, Kipa Presse and Corbis-Sygma, before creating in 2003 his own agency, Planète Bleue Images.
His photographic universe
His work covers several areas:
- portraits of writers, artists and musicians;
- documentary and current affairs photography;
- underwater photography, a discipline in which he is also the author of specialized works.
