Description from the seller

Original promotional poster, dating from around 1970 for 'Hagenbeck's World Circus' that performed at the famous Cirque Royal in Brussels.
Print: Impresor 311. With an authentic tax stamp 1 F (franc) bottom right.
Condition B+: Corner clipped at top left. Normal light creases. Fresh colors.
Shipping: folded in reinforced envelope with Bpost track & trace.

While the name "Hagenbeck" today is mainly associated with the world-famous zoo in Hamburg, Germany, it was until the early 1980s also synonymous with a large classical animal circus.
Founded in 1887 by the well-known animal dealer and zoo director Carl Hagenbeck, the circus was one of the most popular in the first half of the 20th century.
Carl's younger brother Wilhelm ran a large circus, which after his death was continued by his son Carl and after his death in the mid-1950s by his widow Friederike.
"Circus Hagenbeck" remained a well-known name even in the postwar period thanks to Willy Hagenbeck, another son of Wilhelm Hagenbeck. In 1982 the circus finally closed its books. (Source: Stefan Nagel)
