Description
The title “Yugen” (幽玄) comes from Japanese aesthetics and describes a deep, quiet beauty that cannot be fully captured in words – an atmosphere that is felt rather than explained.
Before a luminous background in warm ruby, carmine, and gold tones, a delicate network of branches and sunlit blossom forms unfolds. Golden accents seem to float in space, creating a sense of lightness, harmony, and inner calm. Light and color merge into a poetic composition that balances between reality and memory, nature and abstraction.
Depending on the viewing angle and light, the painting’s effect changes. The warm layers of color reveal ever-new nuances, giving the work a lively yet meditative presence.
The composition invites one to pause and engage in the quiet dialogue between light, color, and space. It is especially suitable for modern living spaces, stylish reception areas, hotels, or exclusive interiors where art should create an atmosphere of elegance, warmth, and contemplation.
About the artist
Alla Faber lives and works in Hamburg. For several years she has been dedicated to abstract and contemporary painting, creating large-format works that balance between stillness and movement, structure and lightness.
Her preferred materials are acrylic paints, structure gels, and metal foils – combined in fine, often multi-layered compositions. Through delicate transitions, harmonious color gradients, and light reflections, her images do not dominate the space but fill it with quiet presence.
Her artistic work follows the concept “So klingt die Stille” – a painterly exploration of the moment between sound and silence. In this silence, for Faber there is no emptiness, but a living force: the breathing of light, the whispering of colors, and the gentle pulsation of the space.
Her works have already been shown in several exhibitions in Hamburg and are today in private collections in Europe, the USA, and the United Arab Emirates.
