Pavlo C. - “Dormiente”

This artwork originates from a pictorial investigation that assigns a fundamental role to randomness, understood as a tool to pursue a personal vision of a dreamlike and spatial reality. The creative process unfolds through a continuous dialogue between chance and intention: forms, signs, and suggestions emerge spontaneously from matter and are subsequently welcomed, selected, and guided by conscious gestures. Through controlled interventions, some elements generated by randomness are highlighted and valued, directing the viewer's perception in the desired direction. The combination of different media — acrylic, oil, glue, and other materials — helps create a surface rich in stratifications, transparencies, and chromatic tensions, giving rise to a painterly space suspended between reality and imagination.

Pavlo C. is the pseudonym I use to distinguish this artistic research from another line of inquiry I pursue in parallel, allowing each path to develop with its own expressive and conceptual identity.


Important!!!
The work was created with mixed media on canvas —121 x 90 cm without a frame, in order to take advantage of a larger dimension (a factor that directly affects the impact and power of the composition) and to facilitate shipping. It will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube together with the certificate of authenticity. On each side, the canvas has a 5 cm border that will allow it to be mounted later on a frame suitable for the buyer to bear.
