Description from the seller
The blue here is not calm — it’s tension. Intense, almost electric, pure cobalt that leaves no room for peace. And on it, coral poppies burn like embers scattered by the wind, each a small warmth source on a background that shouldn’t permit it. The petals detach and rise, lit from within, as if they carried their own light. There is something magnetic about this contrast — the way heat and cold face each other without either one giving way. It’s not day nor night: it’s a field at that exact moment when the temperature shifts, and the body still doesn’t know if it’s cold or warm.
Signed and dated 2025 in the bottom right
Image dimensions: 70 x 80 cm
Overall canvas size: 80 x 90 cm
The work is sold without a frame; it will be rolled up and shipped in a cardboard tube.
The certificate of authenticity is issued exclusively upon request, in digital format.
Parfen D. is a contemporary artist who transforms painting into a poetic gesture, capable of revealing the intimate connection between human beings and nature. His work stands out for its ability to quietly evoke universal emotions through a refined and minimalist visual poetics. He does not seek to depict nature realistically, but to suggest its essence: fragility, lightness, and a deep connection with our inner world. Each brushstroke is a meditative act, an invitation to slow down, to immerse oneself in a universe of vibrant silence. The colors, which often dominate his works, are not mere tones but real protagonists, charged with memory and meaning. His canvases do not impose a narrative, but offer spaces of contemplation where anyone can find their own story.
