D - Uli, "Elefant" Blue, a hand-signed ultramarine pigment mixed-media sculpture in resin, 23 cm wide by 24 cm high by 12 cm deep, Germany, in good condition.
Description from the seller
Directly from the gallery "D uli - Arts"
This artwork is from the series "Homage to Yves Klein"
Yves Klein was, along with Andy Warhol and Jeff Koons, one of the co-founders of Pop Art.
His unforgettable "Blue Quadrat" with the most beautiful and intense blue I have ever seen.
All objects have been handmade by me in elaborate manual work.
Parts of the handwork traces are visible, underscoring the uniqueness of each object
Hand-signed
Ultramarine blue pigments, produced in an elaborate mixture, absorb light.
The darker the room, the more intensely the blue glows because it absorbs the remaining light
Hand-signed
Elephant is about 20/15/10 cm in ultramarine blue matte on a black base
My artworks are presented at art fairs such as Cologne, Dresden, Frankfurt, Paris, Luxembourg, Hamburg, Munich, Monaco, Strasbourg, Lyon...
My Pop Art connects art and everyday life.
An elementary feature of Pop Art is the often trivial objects from daily life, from popular culture, media and advertising.
The motifs used are torn from their original context, altered by me and thus gain a new life as an "art object"
