Original oil painting by Jesús López titled Toalla marrón, 100 cm high by 81 cm wide, created in 2026, signed by hand, in excellent condition, depicting an interior bathroom scene with blue, brown, white, gray and multicolor tones; edition Original, country of origin Spain, sold directly from the artist.
Description from the seller
"Brown Towel" is a suggestive and magnetic large-format work (1 meter tall) that elevates a daily, intimate space to the category of artistic study. With an atmosphere that oscillates between genre realism and a subtle contemporary melancholy, the piece portrays the interior of a vintage bathroom with extraordinary luminous sensitivity.
Notes for the Collector
Due to its 1-meter height scale, it is a piece with great physical presence, ideal for starring on a wall in spacious rooms. Its theme, which dialogues with pop art and modern realism, fits perfectly in both contemporary art collections and avant-garde interior design projects that seek a work with character, irony, and impeccable technical execution.

About the author
Jesús López (Valencia, 1982) began oil painting at the age of nine or ten, a hobby that he maintained until finishing EGB and that paused for many years. It was during the COVID pandemic that he resumed artistic creation through watercolor, a technique that allowed him to discover a language based on transparency, synthesis, and the active role of water in the creative process.
After that reconnection with painting, he decided to return to oil, first self-taught and later training at Aguaespejo Estudio with the Jaen-born artist Francisco Salas Quesada. His work moves between realism and impressionism, with a particular interest in objects and everyday scenes. His main reference is Joaquín Sorolla, for his expressive brushwork and, of course, for the light in his works.
His path in painting has really just begun.
