Description from the seller

The lid is decorated with elegant Ukiyo-e inspired motifs, appearing to feature scenes associated with Katsushika Hokusai’s iconic works, including representations reminiscent of The Great Wave, Red Fuji (South Wind, Clear Sky), and other traditional Japanese landscapes. The combination of classical Japanese art and refined lacquer craftsmanship creates a sophisticated and highly decorative piece.
