Up for auction, a fascinating antique jewelry case / trinket box, entirely hand-carved in solid wood in the shape of an old leather-bound volume. The piece dates to the 1960s and is made in the characteristic Gothic Revival / Renaissance style, very popular in the mid-20th century for interior decorative objects.
