Description from the seller
Big Apple in orange Hermès resin by XTC.
Approximately 14 cm in diameter and 17 cm high, paint, vinyl, varnish.
Numbered /30 and signed on the bottom, Certificate (COA) provided.
The work sent is not the one in the photo but will be similar and unique.
Careful and tracked shipping.
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration has become a passion that had to materialize.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligned with the Pop Art movement, through the subversion of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity expresses itself through the bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes clash with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermes, Veuve Clicquot champagne, or caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already thin boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes minerals.
He draws inspiration, among others, from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, advertising and addictions in general.
All potential defects or imperfections are an integral part of the work.
