XTC's 2026 sculpture Mc Caviar Tiffany, edition 13/15, hand-signed, made from wood, glass and plastic with a glass dome, 18 cm wide, 18 cm deep and 25 cm high, originating from France, in excellent condition, with a COA.
Description from the seller
Mc Caviar x Tiffany cone with a mother-of-pearl spoon by XTC.
A reimagining of a McDonald’s cone, the crossing of luxury and mass consumption.
This is not a Mc Donald’s cone in cardboard; everything has been created from plastics and painted by XTC, except the genuine mother-of-pearl spoon.
The glass cloche is an integral part of the artwork.
Signed and numbered out of 15 below, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
The edition shown in the photo is not necessarily the one that will be sent.
Careful packaging and tracked shipping.
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC has shaped his artistic universe through an interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration evolved into a passion that was to be realized.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligned with the Pop Art movement, through the détournement of contemporary mass-produced goods.
His creativity expresses itself through bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes collide with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermès, Veuve Clicquot champagne, and caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, mixing painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes minerals.
He draws inspiration, among others, from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey and advertising and addictions in general.
All potential defects or imperfections are an integral part of the artwork.
