Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Extincteur Champ Clicquot Blk, an aluminium sculpture by XTC from France, created in 2026, edition 19/30, signed, 30 cm high by 8.5 cm wide and 8.5 cm deep, in excellent condition with a COA.
Description from the seller
Veuve Clicquot Champagne black fire extinguisher by XTC.
Entirely painted with Montana spray paints and varnish.
Only painted, no stickers for a uniform result and better longevity.
Numbered out of 30 and signed on the underside, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
The piece sent is not necessarily the one in the photo but it will be similar.
Careful and trackable shipping.
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC has shaped his artistic universe through an interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration has turned into a passion that had to be realized.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught plastic artist, subscribing to the Pop Art movement through the repurposing of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity expresses itself through bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes collide with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermes, Veuve Clicquot champagne or even Caviar) and Street Art, blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, mixing painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes minerals.
He draws inspiration, among others, from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey and advertising and addictions in general.
All possible defects or imperfections are an integral part of the work: it is an empty (gas) fire extinguisher from reclaimed stock that may show cosmetic flaws visible through the paint. (Obviously, it is forbidden to sell a full extinguisher whose standard labels or the safety pin are missing)
