Description from the seller

You have here the opportunity to acquire a large-format photographic work by Martin Denker for your collection of contemporary art. The gallery price of this work is €6,500.

The image shows a night-like landscape: the blurred outlines of trees and tall lamps are vaguely discernible. Everything is bathed in a surreal, violet light.

In the loneliness of the night, the human eye searches for familiar forms; longing and romance willingly accompany this feeling of longing.

“In my artistic work I deal with the relation between chaos and order. The human eye prefers order, while our thoughts are rather chaotic: my earlier works were large-format panoramas consisting of countless fragments of incoherent information that, in their all-over arrangement, through contemplation formed a universal order from the chaos of image storytelling: the rules of aetheticism built the order slowly during the months-long arrangement of a specific work.
