Oreste Albertini was born on 28 March 1887 in Torre del Mangano, a small municipality in the province of Pavia. From a young age, he showed a strong interest in art and at age 13 he became an apprentice to the fresco painter Cesare Maroni, collaborating in the execution of frescoes in the church of Besano, in the province of Varese.
His works are conserved in the Civic Museums of Pavia [1] and in the Gallery of Modern Art in Milan.
