one-of-a-kind 1/1
An absolute symbol of value, power and stability is struck by an egg.
The dollar, a global icon of the economy and authority, is not destroyed but contaminated.
The color exploding on the surface is the color of the inside of the egg: not an arbitrary aggression, but the physical transformation of the impact into painting. The gesture becomes matter. The wound becomes a sign.
In Desecrated, the artist intervenes on an untouchable image, challenging the automatic respect toward the symbols of power. Money is profaned, but also regenerated: from instrument of control to expressive surface.
It is a visceral and lucid act at the same time.
A sacred profanation, in which economic value is suspended to leave room for a new aesthetic and conceptual tension..
SHIPPING INSURED!
The package is carefully packed, the canvas is shipped already mounted on a wooden frame, frame not included.
The artist established himself in 2024 as one of the most sought-after names on Catawiki, immediately after icons such as Kaws and Banksy. His art stands out in an exclusive context that includes other categories of excellence, such as Rolex, Lego, Louis Vuitton, Porsche, Eames, Macallan, Tintin, Cartier and Pokémon. A talent recognized not only for creative value but also as one of the most promising investments of the year.
Born in 1992 in Macerata, Marche, the Italian artist pursued a path that, between Geometer and Architecture studies, led him to collaborate with a resin sculpture craftsman. There arose the ever-stronger need to find himself and give vent to his creativity.
His works are sold worldwide, collaborating with galleries in Italy and Europe.
His art is widely appreciated and cannot be missing among collectors of paintings and sculptures of street art, pop art, and contemporary art.
"It is never easy to classify one's art; I try to convey what my eyes see, my way of looking at what surrounds me, and I rework it with a design that fits well with modern times: impactful and memorable."
