A scenographic and iconic piece from the maison Redemption, directly from the runway collection “A Night at the Opera”. This short ruby red sequin dress is enriched with hand-made floral embroidery using sequins and micro beads in pink, purple and silver tones.

Technical details:
Draped model, waist emphasized by a sash and an asymmetric short skirt.
Wide long sleeves, kimono-inspired, echoing the collection’s oriental details.
Round neckline.
Fully covered in sequins, with artisanal floral appliqués (as stated on the label: “The embroidery of this garment has been made by hand”).
Hidden back zipper closure.

Main fabric: 92% polyamide, 8% elastane. Secondary fabric: 100% silk
Made in Italy
Size: IT 38 (EU 34 / FR 34 / US 2).
Measurements: Waist 68 cm; Hips 80 cm.
Condition: excellent, like new.
Note (as stated by the internal label): As this is a runway piece, the floral appliqués are entirely hand-sewn. Small irregularities in the embroidery are characteristics of the artisanal workmanship and not defects.

Collection context
The model was presented during the “A Night at the Opera” show. A collection inspired by opera and in particular Madame Butterfly, in which the creative director Bebe Moratti merged Oriental influences (obi, cherry blossoms, kimono details) with the house’s rock attitude.
