The native Swabian, today a freelance artist and creativity coach, lives with her family in Osnabrück. Her works are now represented in private collections worldwide. Interior consultants value collaborating with her. She still describes herself as a self-taught artist. Despite various study programs, self-learning through experimentation and continuous practice remains central and shapes her works. For Ganter, independently acquired skill stands for strength. Many of her works express feelings and intersections of her life.
