Vienna Style - Weh - Box - Porcelain - Hand-Painted Signed

An excellent round jewellery box, made of Austrian porcelain and hand-painted by the renowned Royal Vienna factory. Featuring a romantic scene set in an 18th-century rural landscape painted on the lid, this box is signed in the bottom right-hand corner by the painter ‘Weh’ and is attributed to the 19th century. The mark on the base undoubtedly belongs to the manufacturer in question. The piece is in good condition, although the paint shows signs of wear due to age. Diameter: 9 cm. Please see the photos.
