Benjamin Rabier - Gédéon fait du ski - 1938

Exciting edition of this illustrated album from the famous series devoted to the duck Gédéon, in which the hero discovers the pleasures and difficulties of winter sports through an adventure full of humor, movement and misadventures -

Drawn by novelty and always eager to try unknown activities, Gédéon travels to a snowy landscape where he is fascinated by the mountains, the white slopes and skiers who glide with ease on the snow -

Convinced that he can quickly master this discipline, he acquires ski equipment and enthusiastically begins learning this sport -

However, as is often the case in the character’s adventures, his confidence exceeds his real experience, and his first attempts quickly turn into a series of spectacular falls, uncontrolled slides and comical situations that amuse both his companions and the reader -
