Description from the seller

A large and fine Satsuma ceramic tray, of round flat form, measuring circa 37,8cm in diameter and weighing 1340g, delicately painted in polychrome enamels to depict rakan (arhats), their attendants and a large white dragon slithering among them. Signed to the underside with two characters under Shimazu family crest. Estimated age: Late Meiji period, circa 1900.

Condition: Excellent, no damages or repairs. Minimal wear.

This lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered and insured mail.
