Description from the seller
Pokemom added in a thrifted painting.
## The Characters and Foreground
* **The Tea Party:** Two pink, round Pokémon characters are seated at a small, round metal garden table enjoying a tea or coffee break.
* **Clefairy:** On the left, a Clefairy sits snugly on a high stool. It has its eyes closed in a happy, laughing expression, with one paw raised as if caught mid-conversation.
* **Wigglytuff:** On the right, a larger Wigglytuff sits on an identical stool. It has wide, bright blue eyes and a slightly neutral or curious expression, looking toward the left.
* **The Table Setting:** The dark metal table between them holds a white teapot and a glass. Scattered on the tabletop next to them are lines of white powder and a rolled-up bill, adding a humorous, subversive twist to the scene.
## The Setting and Style
* **The Background:** The characters are placed in a lush, dreamy garden or park. The background is painted in a loose, textured Impressionistic style with visible brushstrokes. It features tall ornamental grasses, blooming white and pink flower bushes, and a dense backdrop of soft green trees.
* **The Contrast:** There is a deliberate and charming stylistic contrast in **The painting**. The garden background uses a muted, blended palette of greens, whites, and soft pinks. In contrast, the two Pokémon are painted with flat, solid pink tones and defined by sharp, bold black outlines, making them pop right out of the classical landscape.
* **Extra Details:** In the bottom-left corner, the edge of a rustic, wrought-iron garden bench is visible. The canvas texture is subtly apparent throughout the piece, and a small black signature "WA." is visible in the bottom-right corner.
