Sonia Anton - Electric Pulse

I created Electric Pulse to capture the invisible energy that exists between people, movement, and emotion. The two figures reach upward and outward, connected by a shared rhythm that feels both spontaneous and intentional. Vibrant pinks and intense oranges create a sense of warmth, vitality, and momentum, while the expressive lines preserve the rawness of the creative process. I wanted the composition to feel alive, as though the figures are responding to music, light, or an unseen force moving through the space between them. For me, this painting is about connection, freedom, and the moments when we feel completely present in our own energy.

This artwork also holds a special meaning for me, as a portion of the proceeds will contribute to helping stray dogs in Romania by supporting practical needs such as food, shelter, and care.

I am Sonia Anton, a Romanian Australian artist whose passion for painting was shaped from an early age, growing up alongside my mother, a celebrated artist whose work left a lasting impression on me. Having lived across the world, from Australia to Mexico and throughout Europe, I bring a richness of experience and perspective to every canvas. Surrounded by creativity and self expression from childhood, I naturally found my own voice through paint and colour. My work is driven by a deep love of colour and a growing fascination with texture, explored with increasing boldness and confidence. Each piece is an act of genuine self expression, an invitation to feel rather than simply observe.
