This modern abstract artwork plays with contrasts, transparency and light. Two large, overlapping semicircles in black and shimmering white form a harmonious composition, whose intersection glows in a shimmering blue. The geometric shapes create a calm, almost meditative atmosphere and evoke natural phenomena such as horizon lines, moon phases, or a solar eclipse.
A distinctive feature of the work is the white semicircle: It has been crafted with a shimmering effect paint that changes with the viewing angle. Sometimes the area appears almost pure white, other times it shows a fine bluish shimmer, causing the painting to interact with the surrounding light and to subtly shift constantly.
The reduced color palette and the clear language of form make the work a timeless eye-catcher for modern living spaces, offices or gallery walls. It combines minimalism with depth and invites the viewer to discover their own associations and stories within the composition.
