Chess set - Wood

I am putting this magnificent complete chessboard up for sale, an original vintage piece from the 1950s-1960s originating from Peru. It stands out for its artisanal craftsmanship in noble woods and a very unique and stylized design of the pieces.

Main features:
Era: 1950s / 60s (Mid-Century).

Materials: The board features a spectacular veneer in walnut root marquetry combined with light squares of boxwood. The pieces are completely hand-carved in natural wood.

Design: Pieces with very stylized and geometric lines.

Condition: In good overall aesthetic condition for its more than 60 years. It retains all the patina of time that gives it that unique character. As seen in the last photo, the frame of the board shows a small natural crack in the wood that does not affect its structure or the game, a reflection of its age.
