Chess set - Copper

Spectacular vintage medieval historical chess set with bronze/metal alloy figures representing "The Reconquista" and the clashes between Christian and Muslim troops of the Late Middle Ages during the Crusades. This lot includes a spectacular pyramid-base shaped structure made of various materials with relief scenes on all sides. At the top there is a beautiful wooden board with Spanish motifs. Additionally, the chess set includes a complete batch of 32 metal pieces, highly detailed, representing the Christian and Muslim factions. These pieces range from 3.5 to 5 cm. The pieces are perfectly protected and arranged in a display structure designed for this purpose, and are stored inside a larger outer structure. The entire set is in excellent condition. Ideal for collectors as well as historians or chess enthusiasts.
