Beautiful large wooden triptych icon, painted in a traditional Byzantine or Eastern Orthodox style.
The Annunciation icon is a key scene in the Orthodox and Byzantine church.
It depicts the Archangel Gabriel visiting Mary to announce that she will become the mother of Jesus.
The images on the left and right presumably show the holy warriors, Saint George, and Saint Demetrius.
Dimensions are approximately 67 cm high and 58 cm wide.
The painting's work exhibits craquelure.
The wood is in very good condition.
The photos are part of the description.
The icon will be carefully packaged and shipped with a tracking code.
