Description from the seller

Important antique 14-karat gold and natural coral earrings, late 19th – early 20th century.

This remarkable pair of earrings is adorned with substantial cabochons of natural coral in a beautiful salmon hue. Of generous dimensions, these cabochons have a particularly appealing volume and offer a remarkable presence when worn. The natural nuances and the light veining of the coral give the piece all its charm and authenticity.

The setting is made of subtly rosy 14-karat gold, tested with the appropriate touchstone acid. The earrings are intended for pierced ears and feature an articulated hook clasp with double safety, ensuring comfortable wear and excellent stability.

Dimensions:
• Cabochon diameter: about 1.5 cm
• Width: about 1.2 cm
• Total length: about 2.2 cm

Total weight: about 8.2 g.

Very good condition with light signs of wear consistent with age. An elegant pair with character, representative of jewelry from the late 19th century and the early 20th century, blending the warmth of rosy gold with the timeless beauty of natural coral.
