Giuseppe Aureli (Rome, 1858 – Anzio, 1929)
was an Italian painter and watercolorist. Trained in Rome, he debuted in 1883 in Naples.
He is known for historical scenes, knightly courtships, portraits and Orientalist subjects. He was a portraitist of the Kings of Italy Umberto I and Margherita of Savoy.

È noto per scene storiche, corteggiamenti di cavalieri, ritratti e soggetti orientalisti. Fu ritrattista dei reali d'Italia Umberto I e Margherita di Savoia.
