Publisher: Paris, de l’Imprimerie de P. Plassan, An IVe (1796). Nouvelle édition. Vollständig in 4 Bänden, illustrated with 18 Kupfertafeln. Contemporary marbled calfskin bindings with rich back, board and inner edge gilding, marbled paper endpapers, gilt along the edges, 24 x 15 cm.

This impressive complete edition of Virgil’s works belongs to the sought-after French luxury editions of the late 18th century.
