PIX A presents WTF?! – Collective Confusion, a one‑of‑a‑kind original neo‑expressionist artwork by PIXA, hand signed, 140 × 120 cm (approx. 150 × 130 cm including the canvas edge), created in 2026 using acrylic, spray paint and oil stick, and shipped rolled from Germany with a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
WTF?! is perhaps the most universal reaction to the contemporary world.
Three figures stand side by side, united by the same expression of astonishment, disbelief and concern. Their wide eyes and tense grins seem to absorb the relentless flow of crises, conflicts, information overload and contradictions that define our era. They are not portraits of specific individuals, but reflections of a collective state of mind.
Built through successive layers of acrylic paint, spray paint and oil stick, the composition combines vibrant colour with raw, spontaneous drawing. Beneath the loose white silhouettes, fragments of colour emerge and collide, creating a visual tension that echoes the instability and complexity of the world around us.
Balancing irony and unease, the work transforms a familiar contemporary expression into a symbol of collective bewilderment. Humorous at first glance, the painting gradually reveals a deeper question: how do we make sense of a reality that often seems increasingly absurd?
