In this work I explore the relationship between architecture, memory and landscape through a visual language based on the simplification of forms and the intensity of color. The houses, reduced to their geometric essence, multiply to form a dynamic composition where each element contributes to creating an imaginary landscape full of rhythm, balance and depth.
The intense yellow that surrounds the scene acts as a permanent source of light, contrasting with the blues, purples and greens of the houses and trees. This chromatic dialogue generates a visual vibration that changes depending on the distance from which the work is viewed. Visible brushstrokes, transparencies and overlays enrich the pictorial surface, bringing movement and a strong material presence.

About R. Robin
Robinson Rodríguez García is a visual artist, theater designer and drawing professor, born in Cienfuegos, Cuba, and residing in Spain. He graduated in 2003 from the Provincial Academy of Fine Arts and develops an artistic practice centered on painting and the contemporary language, where abstraction, geometry and a strong symbolic charge converge. Between 2003 and 2005 he taught drawing workshops at the Manuel Ascunce Domenech School of Art Instructors, and between 2006 and 2009 he worked as a costume and scenography designer for the Provincial Council of Performing Arts in Santa Clara, an experience that decisively influenced his spatial and formal conception within the visual arts.
His work has been shown in several solo exhibitions in Cuba, with notable shows at the Provincial Gallery of Art and in institutional spaces in Santa Clara. He has also participated in important group exhibitions and international fairs, including Art Basel Miami, group exhibitions in France and contemporary art events in the Americas and Europe. In 2017 he participated in art fairs in Mexico. His career is complemented by studies and international workshops related to scenic design and visual creation, consolidating a multidisciplinary artistic profile that dialoguest between painting, space and contemporary symbolic experience.
