Born in Bologna on May 9, 1913. Lives in Rome. In Bologna he completed his artistic training and studied architecture at the University of Florence and Rome. He interrupted his studies to devote himself to painting. He participated in the major national exhibitions and in the 6th and 7th Tokyo Art Quadriennials (1957). He was awarded the 1st Prize in Painting Previati (1952) and the 2nd Prize in Painting Lavinio (1957). He held solo exhibitions in: Rome (1950) - Treviso (1952) Rome (1953) Paris (1953) - Bologna (1954) - Rome (1956) - Venice (1956) New York (1956) Naples (1957) - Bologna (1958) Rome (1959) - Livorno (1959). His paintings are in the public galleries of Rome, Venice, Bologna, Spoleto and in many private collections.
