Description from the seller
It is a tripod side table that breathes that warm, direct character of hand-worked wood, where each joint and every curve matters more than any industrial finish. The structure comes to life from three legs that open naturally, without rigidity, as if they had been designed to support themselves from the first sketch. There are no forced symmetries nor lines that are overly straight: what dominates is the craftsman’s logic, that pursuit of balance achieved through eye, experience, and touch.
The top, light yet sturdy, rests on the central knot where the legs converge, a point that usually reveals the workshop’s personality: sometimes more rustic, with visible tool marks; other times more polished, but always with the human imprint intact. The wood shows lively grain, small tonal variations, perhaps a knot that has been integrated as part of the design, reinforcing that sense of a unique, unrepeatable piece.
As a side table it almost functions as a gesture: it is placed where needed, accompanies a chair, supports a lamp, a book, or a cup, and when not in use, its presence remains friendly, light, almost sculptural. It has that charm of objects made without hurry, where functionality and beauty do not compete, but rather support each other.
Certified shipping and good packaging.
