Armand Meffre (1929–2009) was a French actor and painter.
Iconic actor of the theater and cinema, Armand Meffre acted under the direction of major filmmakers alongside Philippe Noiret, Jean Rochefort or Gérard Depardieu.
Trained in painting with master André Lhote, he developed a sensitive, luminous and deeply humane body of work. His canvases, imbued with tenderness and poetry, reveal a profoundly human gaze, between restrained emotion and sincere simplicity.
