Iconic actor of theatre and cinema, Armand Meffre acted under the direction of major filmmakers alongside Philippe Noiret, Jean Rochefort or Gérard Depardieu.
Trained in painting with Master André Lhote, he developed a sensitive, luminous and profoundly human body of work. His canvases, imbued with tenderness and poetry, reveal a deeply human gaze, between restrained emotion and sincere simplicity. A complete artist, whose each painting tells a story and touches with its authenticity.
