J,o,b Studio - Jonathan Bocca - Coffee table - Gold Tradition Kintsukuroi - Paper

A very special edition of the coffee table has been created using recycled paper and a marble slab from Vagli. Unlike the original, this slab was restored with a Japanese technique called Kintsukuroi, in which the crack was repaired using gold. This process has transformed the crack into a unique and fascinating feature of the table.

The base of the coffee table is made from recycled paper; unlike the original color of the paper, this one features a black finish, creating an extraordinary contrast with the gold used for the repair.

This creation brings together two very different materials, both with roots in the city of Lucca. It is a One-of-a-kind Piece 1/1, made using the remnants of the slab that fell during a storm that hit Tuscany in the past month.
