It looks as if something here keeps moving around itself – calmly, almost imperceptibly. No loud gesture, no clear beginning or end. More like thoughts that trace their paths in quiet moments, without being able to hold onto them.

The soft gray tones give the whole thing a restrained feel, as if the painting intentionally keeps its distance. And yet the lines are present – searching, groping, sometimes almost hesitant, then more determined again. They cross, lose themselves, find themselves anew.

"Leises Kreisen" feels like an inner process. Something that takes time, that does not push. A state in which not everything is resolved – but exactly there lies a certain calm.

Christoph Prein is an Austrian artist known for his abstract and contemporary works, primarily created with acrylic paints. Originally from St. Margarethen near Knittelfeld, Prein’s pieces are characterized by a minimalist, abstract style and are carefully crafted from high-quality materials to ensure vibrant colors and longevity.
