Every journey begins as a fleeting dream
French contemporary artist, Léo Varek currently develops a series of pop-inspired canvases drawn from street art codes, built around a strong visual energy.
Before this studio work, I completed many monumental murals, notably in Europe, including an intervention of over 600 m² in Courchevel, France. This journey directly informs my current approach, more condensed but still guided by visual impact.
My works are now distributed internationally and shipped worldwide. Each canvas is handmade in my studio in France, using mixed media combining acrylic and spray paint. I work spontaneously to maintain tension in the gesture, strong contrasts, and a real vibration of the colors.
