Classic Men’s Coin Ring in 18k Yellow Gold with Austrian 1 Ducat (1915)
For sale is an elegant, solid yellow gold coin ring. The piece of jewelry is in very good, well-maintained condition with minimal signs of wear. The coin is excellently preserved with all details sharply visible.
* Total Weight: approx. 8.00 grams (weighed on a household scale)
* Coin: Official Austrian 1 Ducat (1915 restrike) made of .986 fine gold (Coin weight: 3.49 g). Motif: Emperor Franz Joseph I / Crowned Double Eagle.
* History & Background: The coin features the portrait of the famous Emperor Franz Joseph I and the crowned double eagle of the House of Habsburg on the reverse. The minting year 1915 marks a historical year during World War I. After the Emperor's death in 1916, the Austrian Mint decreed that all official restrikes of this traditional bullion coin would permanently bear the year 1915 as a commemorative strike.
* Setting/Band: High-quality crafted in 18-karat yellow gold (750), hallmarked on the inside of the band. Additional maker's mark present.
