Description from the seller
Complete Collection of 8 Real Madrid shields in white gold.
This is a very interesting collector's piece, originally released by the sports newspaper MARCA in collaboration with Real Madrid. Limited edition to 250,000 units. It is a historical retrospective that traces the club's visual evolution since its foundation.
Here is the detail of what makes up this collection of 8 insignias:
Collection Features.
- Finish: The pieces feature a white-gold plating, giving them that characteristic, elegant shine against the dark background of the frame.
- Presentation: They are displayed in a wooden frame with a blue velvet passe-partout, including the official logos of "Real Madrid Club de Fútbol" and the MARCA seal.
- Content: The series shows the changes in the crest, reflecting key moments in the history of Spain and the club.
The 8 Shields Included
Following the chronological order seen in the image, the collection usually represents:
1902 (Foundation): The first design, very simple, with the initials MCF (Madrid Club de Fútbol) intertwined in dark blue.
1908: A more stylized evolution of the initials inside a circle, giving the rounded shape that persists to today.
1920 (Royal Title): The Royal Crown is added to the crest after the grant of the title "Real" by King Alfonso XIII.
1931 (Second Republic): The crown disappears and the diagonal purple band is added (representative of Castilla).
1941 (Post-War): The royal crown is restored after the Civil War, but the diagonal band remains and colors are added (gold).
Evolution 1950s-1990s: Refinements in line thickness and crown design.
Modern Crest: The stylized design with which the club entered the 21st century.
All in perfect condition.
