Description from the seller

MASTERPIECE FOR THE COLLECTION: JUNIPER COMPOSED WITH MAJESTIC ANCIENT JIN WOOD

For sale an exceptionally impactful and rare Bonsai specimen: a Juniper (Juniperus) in Kifu style, characterized by a monumental base and a spectacular sculpture in dry wood. As widely documented by the complete photo set (from image_48.png to image_55.png), we are looking at a piece with a mature character, ideal for expert collectors or for anyone seeking a display tree with a strong natural flavor.

The absolute strength of this specimen is the incredible thickness of the trunk at the base, reaching 9 cm in diameter (visible in the close-ups of image_48.png and image_50.png). From this powerful woody base, on the left side, develops an impressive airborne system of ramified, bark-stripped branches (Jin). The macro shots (image_51.png, image_52.png, and image_53.png) highlight the spectacular fiber texture, twisted and eroded by time, which rises above the crown, recalling the drama of high-mountain trees. The foliage is superbly set in dense, vigorous whorls, with an overall width of 38 cm, creating a perfect asymmetric balance (image_49.png, image_55.png).

DIMENSIONS AND TECHNICAL DETAILS:
• Base trunk width: a robust 9 cm (dramatic presence, extraordinary taper)
• Total plant height: 28 cm (Perfectly sized for the Kifu category—compact yet imposing)
• Overall crown width: 38 cm (Generous spread and beautifully distributed ramification)
• Pot dimensions: 4 x 9 x 15 cm
• Pot type: Rectangular black glazed ceramic pot with feet, essential and elegant, designed to enhance the bright green of the foliage and the pale whiteness of the dry wood.

HEALTH STATUS AND AESTHETIC QUALITIES:
- Exceptional vigor: The trimmed vegetation appears clean, very healthy, and rich in new growth tips (macro detail in image_54.png).
- Stable Nebari: The plant’s basal flare is solid, well anchored to the substrate and enriched with fresh moss (image_48.png).

SHIPPING AND PROFESSIONAL RIGID PACKAGING:
Ultra-fast, trackable, and 100% insured shipping within Italy and Europe via express courier (shipping cost shown separately).
Given the grandeur of the trunk (9 cm) and especially the delicate and extended ramification of the upper dry wood (crown width 38 cm), the plant will travel with a high-engineering, “armor” packaging system. The glazed pot will be anchored and securely fixed to the bottom of the crate to prevent micro-movement. All of the crown and the precious air Jin will be isolated and protected with top-quality soft cushioning material, ensuring that this splendid piece arrives intact and ready for your collection.
