Description from the seller
Pocket watch "La Coloniale" from the era – working – with chain
I am selling an elegant vintage pocket watch from the La Coloniale brand, manual wind mechanical movement, perfectly working.
The watch features an original white dial with black Arabic numerals and a small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock. Complete with antique chain and characterized by a refined construction with four openings/covers, typical of high-quality pocket watches of the era.
Characteristics
Brand: La Coloniale
Manual wind mechanical movement
Perfectly functioning
Case diameter: about 50 mm
Weight: about 100 g
Small seconds at 6 o’clock
Complete with chain
Savonette-style case
Four-opening structure: front cover, back case, inner dust cover and additional access opening to the movement
Estimated era: early 1900s
Condition
Good overall condition, with normal signs of wear compatible with the age of the item. Dial well preserved and movement original.
Case
The case appears to be silver or silver-plated metal. There is a small figurative maker’s mark on the inside, but no legible hallmark stamps (800/900/925); therefore the item is sold as untested metal and not guaranteed as silver.
Ideal item for collectors, vintage watch enthusiasts, or anyone seeking an authentic piece of pocket watch horological history.
