.
The artist, far from schools and trends, creates his works as a free man, following exclusively his own ideals and personal goals.
In this textural painting he wanted to express himself with colors in search of new chromatic emotions, using many colors in a random yet calculated order. . Life is full of expressions and happy moments but they are often hindered by great difficulties. Colors always help to overcome them because they are symbols of joy and life. If we can separate the difficult moments from the unhappy ones, we can create a sustainable balance by framing life in many colors large and small.
In this painting we imagine the suffocating heat of a hot summer, but there is always the possibility of going to the sea and lying under colorful umbrellas with the sand burning under our feet, yet relaxed and immersed in solving the crossword clues of the "Settimana Enigmistica".
The painting has 4 cm edges that replace the frame, as is common with abstract paintings, so it is ready to be hung without further costs and, compared to a painting only on canvas, there is a great convenience both economically and practically.
Paolo Contin has a long artistic career. He trained in the world of design and since 1980 has worked in the field of fashion and art. Since 1999 he began to exhibit his works; in 2002 his first solo show in Padua, followed by many exhibitions in Italy and abroad, including Copenhagen, Munich, Paris, Brussels, Istanbul, Buenos Aires and Sydney.
