This is a phenomenal opportunity to acquire a highly limited, well-aged expression from the Tobermory distillery on the Isle of Mull. Released as an exclusive limited edition, this heavily peated Ledaig was distilled in October 1997 and matured for an impressive 21 years.
What makes this bottling truly spectacular is its dual maturation. The spirit spent the majority of its life resting in traditional refill whisky hogsheads before being treated to an extensive 29-month finish in Ruby Port Pipes. This prolonged finish has bestowed the whisky with a gorgeous, deep copper-ruby hue and a masterful flavor profile. It is the perfect marriage of rugged maritime smoke, earth, and the luxurious, sweet opulence of dark port wine fruits.
