Description from the seller
"Sweet"
Limited commemorative Pride edition for 2026.
Number 3 of 10 signed and numbered copies.
Mixed media on 180 g/m² paper with a light grain.
Sheet size: 21 x 29.6 cm
Manual screen print on paper:
Stencil cut by hand and acrylic paint and pigments with white glue applied with a roller. 7 layers of color.
Each print was produced manually and individually, and may therefore exhibit variations characteristic of the artisanal process.
Patrícia Trindade (1989) is a Portuguese artist with a degree in Fine Arts and a Master’s in Painting, both from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto. Although she has dedicated herself over the years to various painting series with different themes, the male figure has become the central element of her work. This has served as the stimulus for various approaches and narratives—from the objectification of the body to erotism, to homosexuality and voyeurism—that challenge the usual representations of virility and the passivity of gender in iconographic representations.
*IMPORTANT: Due to restrictions imposed by Portuguese carriers and shipping limitations beyond my control, orders cannot be shipped to the United States.*
